Scholarship Duration
For Bachelor’s Degree Program: This scholarship lasts 5 to 7 years It includes 1 year of learning Korean followed by 4 to 6 years of the degree course
For Associate Degree Program: This scholarship lasts 3 to 4 years It includes 1 year of learning Korean followed by 2 to 3 years of the degree course
Eligibility Criteria for KGSP Scholarship Undergraduate 2025
- Nationality: Must be citizens of countries chosen by NIIED
- Education:
- Bachelors Degree: Finished high school or associate degree
- Associate Degree: Finished high school
- GPA: 80 percent or higher or top 20 percent of class
- Age: Under 25 years old born after March 1 2000
- Health: Good physical and mental health
Note: Bachelors degree holders not eligible Associate degree holders can only apply for bachelors program
KGSP Scholarship 2025 Undergraduate Quota
This year 367 students from different countries will get to join the GKS Scholarship 2025 Undergraduate for both Associate and Bachelor’s degree programs.
87 students will be chosen through the Embassy Track and 280 students will be picked through the University Track.
KGSP 2025 Embassy Track Quota
- General Quota: 71 scholars from 68 diverse nations.
- Overseas Koreans: 7 scholars representing 7 countries.
- IRTS: 9 distinguished scholars from Ukraine.

- TOPIK level 3 or higher gives extra points making up 10 percent of total
- Direct descendants of Korean War veterans get extra 5 percent
