Program Overview
Objective: The Global Korea Scholarship is designed to select outstanding students to pursue advanced degrees in Korea. This year, Azerbaijan is participating actively in the graduate program track.

KGSP Submission Guidelines
How to Complete Your Application Packet
- Document Sets: Submit 1 original copy of your application documents along with 3 identical photocopy sets.
- Submission Methods:
- Direct Submission: Hand-deliver your documents to the Korean Embassy, or
- Postal Mail: Ensure the application documents arrive within the designated application period.

Selection Schedule (Embassy Track)
- Document Submission Period: February 26 – March 5, 2025 (Note: March 1 is a non-working day) All submissions must be received by 17:00 PM on the final day.
- Review and Notification:
- Documentation Review Results: March 13, 2025 (Only successful candidates will receive individual notification.)
- Interview Date: March 14, 2025 (Interviews will be held at the Korean Embassy.)
- Final Interview Results: March 15, 2025 (Notifications will be sent only to successful candidates.)
Important Updates For KGSP
- Graduation Certificate Requirement: Candidates expecting to graduate by July 31, 2025, are now eligible to apply with an “expected graduation” certificate. However, you must submit your official graduation certificate (or diploma) and final academic transcript to the (KGSP) GKS Center at NIIED by July 31, 2025. Failure to comply will result in cancellation of your acceptance.
- Documentation Language: All certificates not in English or Korean must be accompanied by an Apostille and a certified translation.
- Apostille Details: Acceptable Apostille services include:

- Tip: If your document cannot be re-issued, submit the original along with an apostille on a notarized copy. Note that issuance fees and processing times may vary.
- Proof of Citizenship/Family Relationship: You may provide either:
- A birth certificate (with Apostille) and passport copies of family members, or
- A certificate of family relations (with Apostille) and passport copies of family members. Certificates of family relations can be obtained at an ASAN service center.
