Who Can Apply
Citizenship Requirements
- Only Mongolian citizens are eligible
- Applicants and their parents must not hold Korean citizenship
Age Criteria
- Standard Applicants: Must have been born on or after September 2, 1984.
- Professors from Developing Nations: Must have been born on or after September 2, 1979.
Education Requirement
- Degrees must be completed by February 29, 2026.
- Applicants with degrees earned from Korean institutions are not eligible
Academic Performance
- Minimum required GPA:
- 2.64 on a 4.0 scale
- 2.80 on a 4.3 scale
- 2.91 on a 4.5 scale
- 3.23 on a 5.0 scale
- Or 90 percent in percentage format
Applicants who don’t meet the required scores won’t move forward.

Required Documents

- 1 Apostille-verified original
- 3 simple photocopies
- Apostille verification must be applied to certified documents only
Submission Timeline
- From February 14 to February 29, 2026
- Embassy working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00
- Lunch break: 12:00 to 13:30
Interview Process
- Second-round interviews are expected around March 19.
- Only those who pass the document screening will be invited.
- Applicants who do not pass the embassy process may still apply via university track.
