SSC Part 1 Result 2026 is out for about 106,000 students from six districts including DG Khan, Muzaffargarh, Layyah, Rajanpur, Kot Addu and Taunsa. You can check your result online with roll number, through SMS on 800295, or by downloading the full gazette PDF that comes around 11:00 AM. Last year the pass rate was 57.34 percent. Girls did better than boys. The board now uses GPA and writes “Unsatisfactory” instead of Fail. You need 40 percent in every subject to pass. If you failed one or two papers you can take the supplementary exam later this year.

BISE DG Khan SSC Part 1 Result Overview

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Dera Ghazi Khan covers a large and hard-to-reach part of South Punjab. Many villages still have weak mobile signal. That is why the board releases a full gazette PDF along with the online system. Teachers in remote schools use the PDF to check many students at once without needing strong internet every time.

This year roughly 106,000 students appeared. The result covers Class 9 (SSC Part-I) only. Your final Matric percentage will come next year when Part-II marks are added.

How to Check Your Result

Three easy ways work:

  1. Online – Go to the official BISE DG Khan website, enter your roll number and see the result.
  2. SMS – Type your roll number and send it to 800295.
  3. Gazette PDF – Download the full list around 11:00 AM. The file is 30–60 MB so use Wi-Fi if possible. Open it in a PDF reader. It is the best option for schools that need to check many students together.

What Last Year’s Numbers Show

In 2025 more than 108,000 students registered and about 106,000 took the exam. The overall pass rate was 57.34 percent. Science group passed at 60.05 percent and Humanities at 57.37 percent. The bigger difference was between girls and boys. Girls passed at 64.99 percent while boys passed at 50.97 percent. This gap appears in many Punjab boards and has stayed for several years.

What “Pass” Means Now

The board no longer writes the word Fail. It writes “Unsatisfactory” instead. You still need at least 40 percent marks in every single subject. For a 550-mark exam that means 220 marks in each subject. A high total score does not save a subject that falls below 40 percent. Each subject is checked on its own.

What You Should Do Next

If you cleared every subject with good marks, treat this as the first half of your Matric result. Strong Part-I marks give you room next year if one paper does not go well.

If you got Unsatisfactory in one or two subjects, do not worry. You can appear in the SSC 2nd Annual (Supplementary) exam in November–December. You only need to retake the failed subjects.

If your marks look wrong on one paper, you can apply for rechecking within 15 days. Rechecking only checks the total and looks for unmarked answers. It does not mean a new teacher will re-mark the whole paper.

Students who passed but want better marks can also apply for the improvement exam. Details usually come out a few days after the result.
